Is ZXTank available on the App Store?
Not yet. ZXTank is currently in active development. App Store availability will be announced once the game is ready for release.
When will ZXTank be released?
A release date has not been announced. Development is continuing and more information will be shared as release plans are confirmed.
What type of game is ZXTank?
ZXTank is a retro-inspired top-down tank combat game that combines fast arcade action with tactical gameplay, component-based vehicle damage and procedurally generated battlefields.
What game modes are planned?
The current design includes Solo, DeathMatch and Team Battle. Solo pits one player against AI opponents, while multiplayer supports up to four human players depending on the selected mode.
Does every battle use the same map?
No. Battlefields are procedurally generated, creating different layouts featuring terrain such as forests, open fields, villages, ruins, roads, rivers and bridges.
How does tank damage work?
Instead of using a single health bar, tanks are made up of multiple systems including the hull, engine, tracks, turret and radar. Damage affects how each system performs during battle.
Can I repair my tank?
Yes. Successful hits can eject salvage that any player can collect. Matching parts help repair damaged tank systems, while repair depots may also provide battlefield support.
Does ZXTank support multiplayer?
Yes. The current design supports multiplayer matches with up to four human players, depending on the selected game mode.
Can I play offline?
Solo battles against AI opponents are designed to be playable without requiring online multiplayer.
Will new content be added after release?
Yes. BarkinMad Studios plans to continue supporting ZXTank with gameplay improvements, additional features and new content as development continues.
